Everything Is Fantastic - Crayola Digital Camera Critique
Does this camera do anything automatically? Good for the money, it shoots underwater and is small and shock-proof. The down load of photos and movies was difficult and would not mate with the PC documents files. The battery time was OK and the photos were good. I took it to my daughter's Christmas concert. My husband took pictures and the camera would not shut off. Here are some cons just for your info; most might be adjustment issues since I'm so familiar with these cameras. And don't be discouraged you can always right more about the bad than the good.
I haven't pushed the camera to the specification limits that the product pushes. But I am impressed.
I went surfing with a friend that had this camera and ever since then I wanted, no I NEEDED this camera. Luckily my wife dropped our old camera (from three feet) and the whole thing broke. An as yet unfounded fear is that buttons and seals do not look particularly waterproof. I have not taken it underwater though, and I have no plans to.
Admittedly, I have not tried this one underwater even though I've had it for a year now, but I do take it with me to concerts, friends' sporting events, etc. Sometimes I get amazing photos, but other times they come out blurry (especially in low light).
Videos on the other hand are pretty horrible compared my other point shoot Cannon SD780 IS. The videos are maybe acceptable to You Tube but certainly not for a larger screen. The LED is amazing. These modes would be great for engagement rings, baby feet and fingers, and pretty much everything.

My previous Olympus did. This one shoots HD in the video mode. User manual is in the on-board software that worked, so you always have it with you. Every electric device has some problems but this is still a great camera.
Also, no external battery charger, so you have connect it with its door open to charge it - not ideal for keeping dust and dirt out of the waterproof compartment. Its overall design and build are not impressive. Probably seven out of ten pictures are terrible. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable in picture taking and I have tried changing all the functions and nothing improves the quality.

The camera never got submersed in water completely because I never tripped and fell in the river and I did not take any underwater pictures. Felco Shears.
